Curriculum Overview
- INTRODUCTION
This Curriculum
plan for years R to 6 was written in February 2003, reviewed and updated in July
2005 and again in July 2007.
All staff contributed to it and reference was made to:

The Revised Primary Curriculum
AIM: to map the outline of the Curriculum in the
following subject areas:
PURPOSE: to provide a context for Learning across the
school, to identify opportunities for ICT, to identify links with local businesses, to identify links with other
curriculum areas.
TIME
ALLOCATIONS
For the purpose of this document time
allocations are based on 36 weeks of teaching time in a year of 38 weeks.
This allows two weeks for special curriculum events such as religious
festivals, drama performances, educational visits, sporting events, links with
other agencies and curriculum enrichment activities.
